Yuhanna/John 8: 31-32

İsa kendisine iman etmiş olan Yahudiler’e "Eğer sözüm tutarsanız gerçekten benim öğrencilerimizsin" dedi, "Gerçeği bileceksiniz ve gerçek sizi özgür kılacaktır."

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, " If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:31-32)

iman = faith in God; faith; belief
iman etmek = to believe or trust confidently

kendisine iman etmiş olmak = who had believed him

sözünü tutmak =to keep one’s word (or promise)
eğer sözüm tutarsanız = if you keep my word (if you hold to my teaching)
gerçek = truth; gerçekten = in truth (really)
öğrenci = student, pupil, (disciple); öğrenciler = students, pupils, (disciples)
benim öğrencilerimiz = our students, our pupils, (my disciples)
benim öğrencilerimizsin = you are my disciples
gerçekten benim öğrencilerimizsin (you are really my disciples)
bilmek = to know; to have the knowledge or experience of;
to be aware or informed; to deem or consider;
to hold; to appreciate; to value
gerçek = truth; gerçeği bilmek = to know the truth
gerçeği bileceksiniz = you will know the truth
özgür = free (from)
kılmak = to do, perform, render, make, enable
özgür kılacak = it will set free
gerçek sizi özgür kılacaktır = the truth will set you free
